At present, the international advanced anti-harsh environment computer-related products have a remarkable feature, that is, the use of customizable technology achieved by ultra-large scale FPGA, the use of hardware resources such as specially designed hardware multiplier, multiplier structure, DSP block and general logic unit in FPGA devices as the hardware basis for computing, and the task of the pipeline division and stage processing as a means. Realize the important supplementary function of CPU and DSP computing technology. Such large-scale foreign FPGas are mainly Altera Stratix-x series and Xilinx Virtex-x series, and most of the related products are Xilinx Virtexx series FPGas. Xilinx Virtex-x series FPGas are used in hardware modules such as GE Fanuc's SBC330, SBC610 and Curtiss-Wright's VPX6-185, and companies are now introducing products that integrate more and larger numbers of heterogeneous technologies. For example, Curtiss-Wright's CHAMP-FX2 uses a dual-way hyperscale Virtex-5 to achieve highly scalable customization technology. In China, anti-harsh environment computer products are mainly general-purpose computers, generally using CompactPCI, VME and other buses, using a single-core or dual-core CPU, the system performance is low. These computers have low generality, many kinds, high development cost, weak reusability, difficult quality assurance and low resource utilization. Moreover, these computers are generally implemented using foreign integrated circuit design, and their key functional core parts are still unable to achieve autonomy and control. With the increasing investment in domestic basic hardware and software and the guidance of national policies, domestic basic hardware and software have developed rapidly, and have approached the level of foreign countries in the same period. The research of domestic processor technology is deepening, and multi-core technology has been included in the corresponding development roadmap. The Institute of Computing Technology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences launched the Loongson 3 processor at the end of 2009. The Loongson 3 chip integrates four processor cores, and the processor frequency is above 1GHz. At present, domestic FPGA-based applications have been quite mature, although the current anti-harsh environment computers do not adopt customizable technology, but almost all integrated Altera or Xilinx FPGA applications, such as function expansion modules, bus interface modules, etc. Relevant domestic manufacturers have mastered the key technologies of FPGA applications such as timing logic customization technology, simple reuse and implementation technology of IP core, and have a deep foundation of customizable implementation technology. |
